TBN Nejat TV: Can A True Muslim Be A True American?

Dear Friends,

In our effort to obstruct the expansion of evil, we must be careful not to incite hatred, injustice, or bigotry against any group of people or their belief system. However, in being careful and politically correct we may also step to the other side of the curb and become static and inert. In doing so, which I believe we have in regards to Islam, we will allow a giant to be raised which cannot be slain with only a stone or two!

Upon every wall that protects a city, there are always watchmen to guard the city�s inhabitants from foreign invaders. They are to watch and alarm the officials of the city in case of danger. What if the watchmen�s voice was not heard and the foreign invaders had already infiltrated the walls of the city? What if the governor of the city did not heed the warnings of the watchmen and believed that he could appease the invaders with a compromise for peaceful co-existence? Would it be politically correct to examine the identity of the invaders? Jesus must have not been a politically correct man because he warned of the world�s system. And the politically correct world hated Him for it. Well, if we are to follow our Master, we must also testify of that which we know.

Can A True Muslim Be A True American?

As the number of Muslims is growing in America and as the number of terrorist acts carried out by the radical Muslims is increasing, we must define Islam and determine if it is a safe belief system that is able to co-exist with the American people and the Constitution of the United States! What if the Islamic laws oppose the Constitution of the United States? Can the Constitution protect such a belief system because it has a label of �religion�? How can the American Constitution protect an entity that contradicts it? Can the Constitution of the United States survive while protecting Islam? According to my knowledge of the Islamic Shari�a law and the 1500-year history of Islam, it cannot.

As Islamic terrorism is finding new ways of harming America, the American dream and American liberty are shrinking. We are being prohibited and limited more and more. The way we travel, the way we speak, and even the way we think is being controlled and watched. The following video is a small example of this fact. (Youtube Link). This police action is solely a result of Muslim terrorism.

When I lived in America in 1978-79 as a radical Muslim, almost everything here bothered me. As a Muslim I was grieved on a daily basis by the life-style of the American people. Everything except fast food looked unclean to me. And even with that I had a hard time because the meat was not Hallal (kosher in accordance to the Shari�a law). I often had to step on my religious conscience in order to survive living in the United States. It is impossible for a true Muslim to live in America peaceably unless he or she is isolated in their own environment. That�s how I survived in Houston, Texas. I lived and interacted with Muslims only. Our friends used to slaughter a lamb in their bathtub; that�s where we got our meat. One day as they were cutting the throat of the lamb, the animal took off running. It jumped out of the window and went running and bleeding down the street. That was the end of our kosher meat and my friends were arrested. By the end of a year and a half I was bitter and tired. I left America for Iran to be part of the Islamic revolution. At that time there was only one Mosque in Houston, today there are over 90 Mosques in that city.

For a Muslim to live in American society, he or she must face many difficulties while trying to be true to their faith. To be a true American Muslim is a miracle! How can it be? There is a constant internal battle waging in the soul of a true Muslim living in the United States unless he or she lives completely isolated in an Islamic community where no interaction with Jews, Christians, or atheists is possible. TBN Nejat TV: Do we know the fullness of His salvation?

Dear Friends,

Salvation!

Salvation is what God accomplished for mankind through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. In our interpretations of God's salvation, we often emphasize that portion of Christ's work which is relevant to us, to our religious upbringing and denominations. Some declare forgiveness, others healing, still another group majors on deliverance, and so on. While we proclaim more emphatically the portion of the Gospel that makes sense to us, we may miss the fullness of the salvation of Christ. I believe that everything God wrought us through Jesus is glorious. I do not want to miss one piece of it. I want it all - wouldn't you?

The book of Romans is a treasure map of God's plan of salvation. The more I study Romans, the more I realize how little of God's work I know. Romans, is the first book of the New Covenant. It gives us the why's, how's, and what's of God's redemptive plan for mankind. Without solid understanding of the book of Romans, we will not understand the New Testament. So, I encourage you to commit a year to study and meditate on the book of Romans. I have taught many lessons from this amazing book and these series are available on our website. The greater understanding of the redemption of God we possess, the greater our impact will be on the lives of people around us.

The following story of a 40-year-old Iranian woman who was delivered from all kinds of mess and addictions, is a great example of what an awesome salvation we have through our Lord Jesus Christ. Wouldn't it be shameful if she had heard a message that would have emphasized only one of her issues and not her whole condition? I encourage you to examine your doctrines and your belief systems, and make sure what you believe is based upon God's word and not on human philosophy and wisdom. Your well-being and the well being of others depends on it.

A Testimony from Iran

A 40 year old Iranian lady addicted to opium, alcohol, and another drug. She is married and has several children. Because of excessive drug use, she lost her mind and became very violent, threatening the life of her husband and children. She tortured her children, hit herself, and would bang her head against the wall. She also had other diseases and physical symptoms, such as liver disease, trouble concentrating, back problems, and she looked much older than she was. She was kept in a dark room for 15 years of her life. She called on all of the saints of the Islamic faith to help her, but she got no answer. Almost five years ago, (before Nejat TV began broadcasting 24/7) she was watching Pastor Reza's program and heard him say, �It was sunset and they brought the demon-possessed people to Jesus and he healed them with a word.� She laid her hands on the TV and prayed with Pastor Reza. He then said, �You will be set free from addiction.� She felt so bad, because she didn't even know who Jesus Christ was. So, she started crying and said, �Jesus does exist.� She knelt down and felt peace. From that day on she would watch Day of Salvation and pray with Pastor Reza.

Her mind was healed and restored. Five months later, she went to a narcotics anonymous camp and overcame her addiction to drugs. She had been a drug addict even during her pregnancies, so she couldn't remember much about her children growing up and she would ask them, �How did you grow up to be this big?� She asked God to give her back the 15 years of the life she has lost to drug addiction. Each day she improved a little more and she received strength to be a good wife and a good mother. She reports being drug free, set free from demons, and mentally restored for 4 years and two months.

Our prayer counselor also talked to her husband about his healing. His wife had attacked him and cut his hands. She cut several of the muscles and the tendons in his hands and he was not able to move his fingers, or even raise his hands. One night, Jesus appeared to him in a dream and told him to raise his hands. He replied �I can't.� Jesus told him again, �Raise his hands and move you
