Colossians 1:13-14 says that God "has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins."

2 Corinthians 2:15 says that "we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing." The world does not read the Bible to find out about God. They judge God by what they see in us. If we abide in God, we are manifestations of God's nature (love, joy, peace, etc.).
